What Is ASKF?
The Asian Sports Kempo Federation (ASKF) is the leading authority in promoting and developing Kempo across Asia. Established in 2016, ASKF was born out of a shared vision to unify the continent’s Kempo practitioners under one banner—fostering growth, excellence, and cultural connection through martial arts.
A Vision Rooted in Unity and Excellence
The journey began with the 1st Asian Kempo Games, held in New Delhi, India, marking a historic milestone for the sport in the region. This landmark event was followed by the 2nd Asian Kempo Games in Baku, Azerbaijan in 2017, signaling rapid expansion and the Federation’s commitment to elevating Kempo to new heights across Asia.
From its inception, ASKF has served not just as an organizing body, but as a catalyst for transformation—bridging cultures, refining skills, and inspiring the next generation of martial artists.
Guided by the Father of Modern Kempo
The visionary force behind ASKF is Chief Master Ehsan Nazifi, widely recognized as the Father of Modern Kempo. A master instructor, accomplished competitor, and passionate ambassador of the art, Master Nazifi was unanimously appointed as the Director of ASKF in 2016.
Under his leadership, ASKF has seen tremendous growth, including:
Hosting international seminars, technical workshops, and strategic meetings focused on the evolution of Kempo.
Integrating modern coaching methodologies with traditional values to uplift athletes, instructors, and national federations alike.
Representing Asian Kempo at the global level through consistent participation in IKF World Kempo Championships, where Master Nazifi himself competed and served as head coach, leading by example on and off the mat.
